This campaign was created to promote a ficitional remembrance concert for the infamous Freddie Mercury. By combining saturated graphics with bold typography, the original illustration’s aim was to invite people who come from a variety of backgrounds to celebrate Freddie's career in full color; The poster was made to convey a feeling of togetherness and nostalgia.
Freddie’s remembrance tour is all about celebrating his legacy as well as his ever-present queerness. The original illustration was based off of the Creation of Adam painting by Michelangelo, as Freddie is an extremely important pop culture figure. In this rendition though, it shows Freddie saluting his audience while they raise their fists back at him in acknowledgment.

This solution was approached with the intention that Queen plans to have a website, as well as graphics for their shows. They also have a whole variety of ready-to-sell merchandise cooked up; Included is a remembrance tour record, and T-shirt (pictured right).
